Douchebag of the Day 2/22

For not feeling bad for Dwyane Wade, for holding the sentiment that the Miami Heat – and especially Pat Riley – deserve this injury, and for smiling upon reading the headline “Wade Pondering Season-Ending Shoulder Surgery,” your DotD for 2/22 is…

That’s right! It’s about time the world stopped sucking Dwyane Wade’s you-know-what. Of course, if he doesn’t get this surgery and keeps playing, the world will suck even harder. For the time being, however, the buzz can be killed. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the commercials with Dwyane and Charles Barkley. I think Wade’s sexy as hell. Still, I don’t get America’s love affair with him. I just think it’s too much too fast.

And he’s definitely not as good as You-Know-Who.

Anyway, I’m kinda happy for Shaq who looked really solid when Wade went out of last night’s game. I think this is a stretch where he can absolutely dominate. I’m just glad the Heat won’t win the title again; you know, for the sake of making things interesting.

Honestly, Dwyane, it’s really unfortunate that you got hurt. Get well soon! See you on the court next season!

(…though you’ll probably be on the cover of a dozen magazines between now and then.)
